Kate Brownbill is a London based photographer whose work explores themes of identity within family relationships, drawing primarily from her personal experiences. Her research explores the societal positioning of women and mothers, examining the expectations and narratives that shape their experiences.

Her work has been selected by the charity Suicide & Co for their 2024 ‘Always in Company’ campaign with her photo appearing on billboards nationally.

She was also a finalist in 2024’s Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize with her work “Game Face” being shown in the National Portrait Gallery.

Kate holds a BA in English Literature and a MA in Art History, both from Sussex University
